R.E.A.D

"The Ultimate Gift"

Fostering a lifelong love of reading and providing access to books and literacy resources for underserved children.

Founder Story

What is R.E.A.D.?

R.E.A.D. (Read to Empower, Achieve & Discover) was created to bring the “ultimate gift” to children — the gift of a lifetime that never expires. What began as an effort to elevate excitement and interest in reading has grown into a program that provides books, inspires imagination, and strengthens reading proficiency for children in underserved communities. “A reader today, a leader tomorrow” is the program’s guiding mantra.

What started as a personal tradition quickly grew into something bigger. Friends invited friends. Communities leaned in. And the mission became clear: make sure the spirit of giving reaches families who might otherwise be overlooked.

A reader today, a leader tomorrow. ~ Margaret Fuller
