Since 1999, 12Days has delivered holiday joy to thousands of children and families.
Through this program, members provide meaningful support and essential items—so families feel seen, cared for, and celebrated before the Christmas holidays.

READ Program (Read to Empower, Achieve, and Discover)
READ increases reading proficiency and book ownership for children in underserved communities.
By providing books, inspiration, and exposure to new possibilities, READ helps transform at-risk children into children of promise.

Back-to-School Readiness
Back-to-School Readiness prepares children to confidently enter the school year. Selected families attend engaging venues such as museums and educational centers, hear from inspiring speakers, and receive essential school readiness support.

Food Insecurity Support
Provides grocery gift cards to families experiencing hardship—helping households access essentials with dignity.
Emergency Relief
Assists families facing unexpected challenges with essential support—so stability is restored when life changes suddenly.
Easter Program
Creates meaningful Easter experiences for families through activities, crafts, games, meals, and book distribution—bringing joy and togetherness.
Senior Care Program
Connects older adults with dedicated volunteers for social companionship and assistance with daily essentials—fostering community belonging and supporting independent living.
Community Service Program
Organizes volunteer-led projects to address local needs—empowering residents to strengthen their neighborhoods through hands-on service and collective action.
Educational Scholarships
In 2022, a $5,000 scholarship was established in loving memory of Valra Johnson, an educator and a visionary founding member of the Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. Each year, dedicated students from Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University are selected to receive this scholarship.

Can I donate to a specific chapter?
Yes, you can donate to a specific chapter. To do so, go to the Home Page and click on the “Chapter” tab at the top. From there, scroll through the list and select the chapter you wish to support. Once the chapter’s page opens, you’ll see a red “Donate” button in the upper right corner – this button directs your donation to the selected chapter.
Where does my donation go?
A. Donations made through our Home Page goes directly to support national operation that over see the website, filing of taxes and new and existing chapter support.
Chapter donations support on going chapter programs and their operations.
B. Donations made through our Home Page support national operations that ensure the organization’s overall effectiveness and compliance. These funds are allocated toward website infrastructure, regulatory requirements such as tax filings, and the development and support of both new and existing chapters. Chapter-directed donations are restricted to local use and directly fund chapter-level programing, outreach initiatives, and operational needs. This structure ensures that the resources are managed responsibly while maximizing impact at both the national and local levels.
How are families selected to receive support?
Families are referred by trusted partners such as local schools, churches, and community organizations. We prioritize those facing the greatest challenges-including financial hardship, single- parent or grandparent led households, and experiences with homelessness, illness, unemployment – to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
How can my company become a sponsor or partner?
The Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. welcomes sponsorships and partnerships through financial contributions, goods, or services that support our programs.
