HOUSTON

Our Chapter History

It all began in 1999 when a mother daughter team – Gayla Gardner and Donya Gardner Campbell – along with 10 of their close friends, decided to ring in the new millennium by sharing their many blessings with underprivileged families. Since then, the charitable efforts have spread from Houston, Texas to across the state lines with chapters now in California, Illinois, New York, and the District of Columbia.

Message From The President

Ariann Pradia Grant ― Houston Chapter President

As we celebrate 16 years of service and excellence, I am extremely honored to be serving as the 4th Houston Chapter President of Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. We are mighty not only because of our size of 31 strong members, but due to the phenomenal work we do to serve families in the Houston surrounding areas. Our goal has remained steadfast to focus on providing Christmas food staples and gifts as well as Easter dinners and baskets. We are currently planning a fun-filled Christmas in July event at which our children will be presented with school uniforms, school supplies and backpacks. I am blessed to have a talented executive team that is committed to our mission for the next two years. They include

Kimberly Silas, Vice President/Membership Chair
LaMonika Taylor, Recording Secretary
Wandell Hawkins, Corresponding Secretary
Karen Gray-Gomez, Financial Secretary
Jennifer Williams, Treasurer
Lolita Smith, Parliamentarian

The Houston Chapter of Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc strive to meet our mission to share our blessings with others through collective efforts, charitable activities and community involvement. Our Chapter’s achievements would not be possible without the extraordinary generosity of our supporters – both individuals and corporations. We deliver heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of them on behalf of the many families we serve.
