ATLANTA

Our Chapter History

The Atlanta Chapter of Twelve Days, Inc. began with 4 members who were interested in sharing their blessings with others during the holiday season. With support from the New York Chapter, Atlanta began establishing their group in the last few months of 2014.

Though hosting a full fundraising event in 2014 was not possible, the members decided to use their dues to buy gifts for 2 families that included 11 children. Members shopped for clothing including warm winter items, toys for each child, and a small token for the parents. After experiencing the joy of giving through Twelve Days, the four members returned and added 2 new women to the fold in 2015.

The Atlanta Chapter has continued to grow and in 2017, the chapter will host its 3rd Party with a Purpose at Studio No. 7. Through Sponsorships from companies like Metro Foot & Ankle Centers, PC, Condo Radio as well as a host of individual donors. The party will feature Spirit Wall and Tree Lighting Ceremony to commemorate reaching their fundraising goal!

Message From The President

Melissa R. Campbell ― Atlanta Chapter President

Greetings from the Atlanta Chapter of the Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. We have come quite a way from 2014 here in Atlanta. We are driven by the nearly 20 year legacy of women coming together to support their communities and as the youngest Twelve Days Chapter, we are eager to make our mark here in Atlanta. And we have! Now 15 members strong, we are thrilled that in 2017 we will support 100 children who participate in the after school enrichment and mentoring program, Raising Expectations. We strive to share the joy of Christmas with children during our gift selection process and meet miscellaneous needs of families as they arise.

Our active group of business women, nonprofit professionals, entrepreneurs and public servants bring a range of unique qualities and skills to make our group dynamic and efficient. Best of all, we all share one simple commitment: living a consequential life.

Through the generous philanthropy of our hostesses and sponsors, we are eager to exponentially increase our impact this year. We are making our lists and checking them twice, and planning to spread a little extra Christmas joy all across the metro area.

We are truly blessed to be a blessing!
